With the co-operation of Karunya Sangha Vedi, Kochi and Mattancherry Education Sub District Environment Club, vegetable seedlings and seeds were distributed to more than 70 schools in the Sub District. The distribution of vegetable seedlings was inaugurated by Honorable MLA. for Kochi, Shri. K J Maxey and was conducted at St. Joseph's School, Chullikal. Education Officer for Mattanchery Sub District, Smt. N. Sudha was the chairperson in the meeting. Shri. Thomas Samuel, Deputy Director - Ernakulam District Agriculture Office, delivered an agricultural message to the students. Smt. Sindhu P. Joseph, Deputy Director - Krishi Bhavan, Vyttila, inaugurated the distribution of vegetable seeds to schools. Rev. Father. Terun George Kutti, Assistant General Manager - Corporate Educational Agency, Kochi Diocese honored the farmers. Shri P M Zubair, Environment Club District Coordinator, presided over the programme. Shri. P. T. Boniface, Treasurer - KSV, Shri P. G. Lawrence, Secretary - KSV and School Headmistress Smt. Mini P. A. and delivered their messages.
Karunya Sangh Vedi volunteers handed over vegetable seedlings such as chilli, venda, brinjal, lentil, tomato etc. along with mall packets containing various vegetable seeds to teachers who arrived from various schools, P.T.A. members and general public. KSV Charity volunteers - Shri. P. K. Natesan, Smt. HISIL JOY, Smt. Thanga Anthony, Shri. Joy Purathukaran, Smt. Chandini Ronald, Shri. Anthony Palluruthy, Smt. Jiji Jacob Mariamma, Dr. Anoop Francis, Shri. Fabin Xavier, Shri. Vako Prakash, Smt. Safia, Mrs. Shalini Kunjumon, Shri. Binil Rafale including 15 activists led the distribution.
