The 18th Founders' Day of the Kochi Karunya Sangha Vedi and Gandhi Jayanti were celebrated.

President Mr. P. K. Nadeshan presided over the event. Vishwakarma Navodaya Foundation/Chamber of Commerce Chairman Mr. Manoj Vishwanath inaugurated the meeting. BSNL Retired Divisional Engineer Mrs. Monika Esme D'Rome was the chief guest. During the event, the members of the Karunya Sangha Vedi cut a cake to celebrate the Founder's Day and paid floral tributes to Gandhi's portrait, remembering the Father of the Nation.

Former Vice Principal of Siena College, Edakochi, Mrs. Lilly Antony delivered the Gandhi Jayanti Day message. Mrs. Joyce Antony led the Gandhi Jayanti Day pledge. Mrs. Philomina Antony, Mrs. Safiya, and Mrs. Ambili recited Christian, Muslim, and Hindu interfaith prayers. Karunya Sangha Vedi's General Secretary Mr. P. G. Lawrence, Program Coordinator Mr. P. T. Boniface, St. Peter's L.P. School Headmistress Mrs. Sibi Godfrey, Mr. P. P. Jacob, Mr. Jerome, Mr. T. J. Jain, Mrs. T. P. Sophiya, Mrs. Shalini Kunjumon, Mr. Antony Palluruthy and Mr. Misouri Sam shared their views on the occasion.
