In an era where human brotherhood is highly relevant, Iftar meets organized by socio-cultural organizations like the Karunya Sangha Vedi hold great significance, stated Kochi Press Club Secretary Mr. K.B. Salam. He was speaking while inaugurating the Iftar gathering organized by the Kochi Karunya Sangha Vedi. He remarked that the fasting season, which purifies the mind and body through sacrificial self-control, conveys a message of shared love and endurance to everyone. He further added that such gatherings of human harmony—where people from all sections of society work shoulder-to-shoulder with mutual respect—are a unique specialty of Kerala.
The event was presided over by Karunya Sangha Vedi President Mr. P.T. Boniface. General Secretary Mr. P.G. Lawrence, Voice of West Kochi Secretary Mr. Thariq Hussain, Mrs. T.P.
