Karunya Sangha Vedhi Kochi (KSV Charity) celebrated India's 75th Independence Day in a befitting manner. India's 75th Independence Day began with the lighting of 75 candles. Thoppumpady Division Councilr and Karunya Sanghavedi activist Smt. Sheeba Durome hoisted the National Flag. KSV Charity President Shri. P. K. Natesan was presided over and General Secretary Dr. M. S. Sujith delivered the Independence Day message. Councilor Sheeba Durome distributed the cash prize and momento to the student who secured high marks in the last SSLC examination. Convenor of Environment Committee, Shri. Baiju Stephen promised everyone that KSV volunteers will strive to raise the National Flag of India at KSV's own headquarters building next year. Secretary Shri. P. T. Boniface, Palliative Committee Convenor Smt. Joyce Anthony, Vice President Shri. Mr. George Thaikuttam, Shri. James Panakkathara and several others spoke in the occasion.
