The indefinitely protracted war by Russia on Ukraine is affecting the peoples of Ukraine and Russia directly and all other people across the world indirectly. To awaken the human conscience about ending the war Karunya Sanghavedi (KSV Charity) has arranged Light for the Message of Peace near the Old Harbour Bridge at Thoppumpady on 19th Mar 2022.
Karunya Sanghavedi President Mr P. K. Nadesan presided. Major R Rajesh participant in the Kargil - Siachen wars inaugurated the event by lighting the flame of the message of peace. He called for securing the future of students returning from the battlefield. Councilors Mrs Sheeba Durom and Mrs T Padmakumari honored the student delegates returning home from the Ukrainian battlefield.
Mr Atul Thomas, Mr Sahal Manakkal and Mr Ajay Lewis explained the hardships experienced by them and their fellow Malayalee students in the uncertainty of the land of misery due to the invasion.
