As part of safeguarding the health of coastal residents, the Kochi Karunya Sangha Vedi organized its monthly lifestyle disease diagnostic medical camp. Along with this, 50 dialysis kits were distributed to kidney patients in collaboration with the Joy Alukkas Foundation, and 40 food kits, each containing 15 essential items, were distributed with the support of TNEI, an MNC providing expert technical advice to electricity network companies and renewable energy developers all over the world for more than 20 years.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Kochi Municipal Corporation Planning Board Chairperson Mr. J. Sanil Mon. The distribution of the food kits was carried out by TNEI Company Director Mr. Vishnu K. The dialysis kit distribution was inaugurated by Joy Alukkas Foundation representative Mr. Sebastian. The event was presided over by Karunya Sangha Vedi President Mr. P.K. Nadesan.
Awareness sessions on various topics were conducted by Dr. Thomas Maliyekkal and Dr. P.B. Prasad. General Secretary Mr. P.G. Lawrence, Treasurer Mr. Sebastian Bernard, Mrs. Sophia T.P., Dr. Sujith, Mrs. Joyce Antony, Mr. K.J. Michael, Mr. T.J. Jayan, and Mr. Antony Palluruthy also addressed the gathering.
