Under the leadership of Karunya Sangha Vedi, Kochi, as part of a health-care awareness program for coastal residents, a lifestyle disease screening medical camp was conducted at the Mother of Health Church, Saudi Hall on 14th February 2026, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The parish vicar, Fr. Tobias Thekkepalakkal, performed the inaugural ceremony of the camp. Mr. P. T. Boniface, President of Karunya Sangha Vedi, presided over the event. Dr. Thomas Maliyekkal, winner of the Star of Italy award, Mrs. Shirly Peter (Retired Government Nursing Superintendent), Mrs. Helen Joy (Retired Head Nurse), and Mrs. Joyce Antony (Palliative Convenor) led the camp.

Karunya Sangha Vedi General Secretary Mr. P. G. Lawrence distributed food kits, and Treasurer Mr. Sebastian Bernard distributed medical assistance funds. Vice President Mr. P. K. Nadesan, Mrs. T. P. Sophia, Secretary Mrs. A. S. Ambili, Mrs. Mary Philomina, Mrs. Gigi Jacob Mariyamma, Mrs. Seena Jolly, Mrs. Chandini Ronald, and Mr. Antony Palluruthy were active volunteers at the camp.
