Karunya Sangha Vedi, Kochi organized "Onappulari 2024" by embracing the mothers at Karunya Bhavan and the family members of physically disabled persons who receive various forms of assistance from the Karunya Sangha Vedi.
Karunya Sangha Vedi, which has become an active presence in public service by uplifting humanitarian values and standing with the marginalized in society, is setting a great example for the community, said Mr. C. R. Sudheer, Municipal Division Councilor, Kochi and the event's chief guest.
Karunya Sangha Vedi President Mr. P. K. Nadesan presided over the event. During the ceremony, the following individuals were honored: Dr. Thomas Maliackal, who received the prestigious Italian honor "Star of Italy," Mrs. Fousiya Basheer for her silent service in the field of social work, playback singer Mr. Vipin Xavier, writer Mrs. Vrinda Palatt, and Mrs. P. A. Sunitha, who won the Guiding National Award.
The inauguration of dialysis services was conducted by Mr. Kiran Mathew, representative of the Joy Alukkas Foundation. The distribution of food kits was inaugurated by Mrs. Rani Yesudas.
