Under the auspices of Karunya Sangha Vedi, the Palliative Care Day celebration was held on 15-01-2025 at 10 AM in the Animation Hall of St. Thomas Church, Santhome Junction, Kochi. The event was inaugurated by Ernakulam Member of Parliament Sri Hibi Eden, who paraised the selfless service of KSV Charity volunteers workers in the field of palliative care. The meeting was presided over by Karunya Sangha Vedi President, Sri P. K. Nadesan. Kerala Coast Guard DIG Sri N. Ravi delivered the keynote address, highlighting the exemplary services rendered by Karunya Sangha Vedi in the fields of palliative care, environment, and education. As part of the event, food and grain kits were distributed to 60 families, with the distribution inauguration led by DIG Sri N. Ravi. Major Sri R. Rajesh presided over the distribution of palliative care equipment. The inauguration of dialysis coupon distribution, benefiting 50 selected individuals, was carried out by Sri Rajesh, a representative of the Joy Alukkas Foundation. Retired Civil Surgeon Dr. Sri P. B. Prasad conducted an awareness class on simplifying palliative care practices.

To make the Palliative Care Day memorable, various cultural programs were also conducted.
