The Christmas celebration of the Karunya Sangha Vedi, Kochi was made joyful with songs, games, and competitions held together with the mothers at Karunya Bhavan, Palluruthy. The newly appointed Division Councillor, Mrs. Geetha Prabhakaran, inaugurated the celebration programs. She said that she was very happy to be able to share joy with the mothers of Karunya Bhavan even before taking the oath of office as a new councillor. The meeting was presided over by Karunya Sangha Vedi President Mr. P. T. Boniface. The Director of Bethlehem Minor Seminary, Cheriyakadavu, Rev. Fr. Varghese Jaison Thottassery, delivered the Christmas message. In his message, he said that the greatest thing is being able to share love and happiness with others. Mrs. K. S. Ranjini, who arrived as Santa Claus, cut the cake and shared sweets with everyone. Christmas gifts for the mothers were distributed by Mrs. P. A. Sunitha Teacher. Prizes for the various competitions conducted for the mothers were distributed by Mr. K. M. Antony. Clothes and other daily-use items for the mothers of Karunya Bhavan were also distributed during the function. Karunya Bhavan Superior Sister Mary Bibina, Karunya Sangha Vedi General Secretary Mr. P. On Christmas Eve, Karunya Sangha Vedi volunteers visited the homes of bedridden patients and, with the intention of providing a Christmas meal, distributed chicken and bread to about 25 households.
